Wonder Benefit Concert – March 10th

wondergroupandlogoRockbridge Area Hospice will hold their Annual Benefit Concert on Sunday, March 10th at the Rockbridge County High School Auditorium starting at 3:00 PM.

The well known quartet and Rockbridge County’s own WONDER will be hosting the concert and will have as their special guest this year, five-time winner of the SPBGMA entertaining group of the year NOTHIN’ FANCY.

WONDER has performed up and down the Shenandoah Valley and has made numerous appearances on local television and radio stations.  The group was also featured on PBS television in 2009 on RFD TV which was shown nationwide.  NOTHIN’ FANCY has entertained bluegrass audiences for years.  Their high energy music, vocals, and comedy have boosted them to the top of the bluegrass venues.

Web_NothinFancyPress0081Fundraiser’s such as these allow Rockbridge Area Hospice to continue its mission and close the gap between the cost of caring for patients and Medicare’s reimbursement. Rockbridge Area Hospice provides end-of-life care for residents of Rockbridge County and surrounding areas.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $12 from the Rockbridge Area Hospice office, 315 Myers Street, Lexington or the Maury River Senior Center in Buena Vista. Tickets will also be sold at the door – $15.00 for adults and children under 6 years free.  All proceeds benefit Rockbridge Area Hospice.  For more information call Rockbridge Area Hospice at 540-463-1848.
