We depend on you. If you would like to make a donation:

The generosity of our supporters is vital to accomplishing the mission of Rockbridge Area Hospice. We depend on financial support on an annual basis to serve the needs of patients who cannot otherwise afford care.

Gifts may be made in cash or assets such as appreciated stock (you avoid the capital gains tax) or real estate.

RAH is a not-for-profit organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. There are many ways to give your financial support to RAH:

Bricks Campaign – Purchase bricks to memorialize or honor a loved one. Bricks Capital Campaign

General Donations – Leave it up to RAH to determine how your gift may best be used to help fulfill our mission. Use this General Donation Form or the PayPal link to the right.

Designated Donations – Make a donation and designate its purpose, such as equipment, education, outreach, or supplies.

Memorials – Make a donation in the name of someone who has died. Memorials and Honoraria are often given in connection with the Light Up A Life ceremonies in December.

Planned Giving – Making a gift to RAH in your will or in a trust is an example of planned giving.

  • Up to $49 – Helper
  • $50-99 – Friend
  • $100-249 – Lamplighter
  • $250-499 – Illuminator
  • $500-999 – Beacon
  • $1000-4999 – Reaching Ahead
  • $5000-9999 – Founder’s Circle
  • $10,000-24,999 – Cornerstone Club
  • $25,000-49,999 – Benefactors
  • $50,000 and Up – Leadership Society

Honorarium – Make a donation in the name of someone living, for example on their birthday or anniversary, to say thank you, or just as a way of saying you care.

Buy items periodically sold – You help us when you buy Jennie’s cards, RAH raffle tickets, Hospice tee shirts and totes, etc.

Participate – Use the ‘Events’ link to learn about events such as the Hospice Hustle, Light up a Life, and the Golf Tournament.

Thank you, donors, for your Annual Fund contributions. All donors will be recognized based on total gift contributed during a calendar year.
